Governor Livingston Completes Perfect Season With State Championship

Governor Livingston completed a historic season by defeating West Morris, 6-1, in the 2025 Group 2 state championship game. After a quiet opening to the contest, the Highlanders broke through with six runs in the fourth inning and took control of the game.

Ryan Pappas and Matty Diskin each delivered two-run singles, while Zach Geertsma added an RBI hit during the decisive rally. Keith Mann pitched six strong innings and allowed only one earned run as Governor Livingston finished 28-0, becoming the first New Jersey team since Don Bosco Prep in 2008 to complete a perfect season.
